4/14 - A Little Off the Top, Please

Scarborough Faire, Waxahachie Tx view map

This is my good friend Allen Hopps working on his booth out at Scarborough Faire. I spent the day giving him a hand.

Shot this afternoon with my other new toy, a 17-35mm Wide Angle Zoom. I can't begin to tell you how frustrated I have been
with only a lens that was the equivalant of a normal when wide open after the sensor crop. Did not know what I had been
missing without the macro but I had missed this since day one with the digital.

Here is the lens. A buddy wanted me to post photos of the toys to go with the first pics.

I hope he moved those power cords before he got that far with the saw. :-)
Good shot and I am sure we will see more from the new lens.

WOW... two new lenses. Overwhelming ;) I too love "toy" pics :)

Macros and ultra-wides get all the glamour, but for digital I think the 17mm-70mm range is essential. Good working shot Bob!
