The Sta. Elena Golf club is what I would call a "landscaped course", i.e., well-manicured greens, lush vegetation, and an abundance of planted "water gardens".
There are also pockets of undisturbed natural forests and designated wildlife habitats sprinkled all over the property. In other words, it's a beautiful course. Many golfers I know consider it to be the best maintained course in the country.
The golf club is a 27-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jr. located about an hour south of Manila. Its rolling terrain ensure there is always a gentle breeze even on the hottest days.
