At the Murung cliffs, we were buffetted by the strongest and coldest winds we've ever experienced during the trip. Strong, as in we couldn't stand completely up-right for fear of being blown over the cliff. Our Manfrotto tripods were clearly shaking with each sudden gust, even with our heavy camera bags hanging from them! Cold, as in 12 degrees centigrade before the chill-factor!
In the end, we opted for safer ground. We were lucky, the sunset peeked through the clouds for the first time in days.
