No better place other than home, they say. Hapao, my hometown, is really a gift of God and I am so lucky to have been born there. I always carry with me all the good memories of my so beautiful place wherever I go. Do come and visit our place and you will never regret having gone there. MAPHOD AND ALGO TAKUN AM-IN! I wish there would be an ordinance to forbid locals from making the ricefields into houses.Our great grandchildren will not enjoy its beauty in just few years.

The beautiful landscapes was soooo perfect, I found it an organic architecture product. The beautiful landscape plays a lovely drama in the eye... a perfect beauty! each natural element present in everywhere plays an important role to the beauty... It was really a timeless beauty... the people, the landscapes, the culture, the orientation, the moist, the elevation for the spirit,... the moist and most of all the breez that I can never forget the smell!!!! awesome hapao!!!
I Stayed there with my partner last January 2009 to shoot the scenery and even the nature from sunrise to sunset... the presence was perfect.... I enjoyed my stay there specially that I was there with my special someone... I can never forget that....

i've beeb there in Hapao...it's a great place....my friend, who is a nun invited me there in Hapao...dyan lang ako nakakita ng church na nasa gitna ng rice terraces...
super lamig...kulang ang oras ko...babalikan ko yang Hapao...

Home sweet home! Hapao is the name...A far flung barrio of ifugao. A 1- hour jeepney ride from the neighboring town of Banaue, passing through the rugged, rough, winding, one-way road before you can get a glimpse of the beauty of my home...To you guys, visit my 'sweet home Hapao' and you'll never regret it...Aside fr0m its beauty, you can talk to the old folks and they will tell you tales/epics, the 'Alim', and will render you songs, the 'hud-hud'. Whoah!!! Eureka....I'm from a neighboring town but I love this place. Been here a lot of time and got stucked a lot of times but I love it that way. It doesn't realy matter how long I get stucked on the place. People are kind and a lot of smiles you'll surely gewt wherever you go outta there. Man, can't wait to go back.

I got views of the Hapao Rice Terraces ...started January coz i really like it.Before its light green and turned very green to yellow then brown....whatta wonderful look!!!! I even climb Maduntug hill on a noontime sunny day just to get a bright view of it. Its really hot hot hot!!!! soon to post those pics...

WOOW,what a beautiful place,its here where i grew up,enjoy the fresh water in the river,HOT SPRING,CLIMBING(MT.NAPULAWAN)and working in the rice field like harvesting,planting,and cleaning.wow what a beatiful church,to say I DO to my husband to be,hehe.when i was home still an old church,now its beautiful,the mountain wow,its really virgin its beautiful,THERES NO PLACE LIKE HOME.wanna visit my place?C U THERE?

I use to work in some of those rice terreces in this picture. I was baptized in the church that's now green about 43 years ago. It's a joy to see my beloved birthplace on the net. Now I can't wait to go see it again.
