Dubai in 1971

The photos in this gallery were photographed by Brett Langevad. I thank Brett for letting me display these historic photos taken when he was a pilot for Gulf Aviation in 1971. It's amazing how Dubai has grown. In 1971, Dubai consisted of little more than Deira. The small airport with it's freshly paved runway stands alone in the desert. Brett has also sent some vintage photos of Muscat and the old Beit al-Falaj Airport, which is now a main road within the city. Again, thank you Brett.

My Father, Vernon Burgess also worked for Gulf Aviation in 1971, he was flying the F-27.
Is it possible to purchase the Picture of Beit al Falaj Airport 1971?
