Pec (or Peja, in albanian) in western kosovo is one of the largest cities in kosovo outside of the capital, prishtina, and is home to some of the serbian orthodox churches' oldest and most beautiful monasteries. To get to them, just run the gauntlet of NATO troops stationed around them to guard against reprisal appraisal attacks by the majority kosovars.
