These cubes are some of my favorite non-marbles glass that is being made. Paul does furnace glass work and hence ends up with a lot of pieces and odds and ends, and those pieces end up in these cubical creations. They are worked into a concrete-type matrix, and the concrete itself has a lot of crushed clear glass in it to give it sparkle. He then cuts out a cube and bevels and polishes it, and the end result is SO awesome!! Paul also creates clear stands for them which the cube sits in, with one corner stuck down in the triangular hole. This particular cube has mostly a black and white theme, with bits of color thrown in here and there. There is a purplish-pink chunk that goes all the way across one corner of the piece giving you a view inside and through, SO cool! It also has a large black and white circular cane that goes across one edge, giving you a nice wide wormhole that you can look clean through. VERY awesome piece!
