_BJR9999.jpg -- The Number's Right ;o)

Great Falls NP, MD

I got my D200 two years ago on Good Friday, and on
Saturday Vincent Versace said I was going to love this camera.
Now two years later on Easter Sunday it rolls over to 60,000 shots ;0)
And I have to admit as much as I'd love a D300 he was right and this this
old workhorse still takes some great shots. I wish half of them were this nice ;o))

This was handheld with the 50 f/1.8 as the sun set over the C&O Canal. A perfect ending
to a great afternoon of shooting. This was taken roughly 10 mins before yesterday's.

(60,000 not bad for a working man, Moose Peterson at an earlier WS said the most important
part of taking great pictures was to spend more time behind the camera. I think I can tell
how much over the last two years it has paid off.)

Nikon D200 ,Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D AF
1/50s f/6.3 at 50.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

You are so right. I have had my D100's for 5 years now and they still take great images when I spend the time behind the camera. Nice shot and happy shooting!

Beautiful image and great words of wisdom, There are many people I know who spend more time talking about how to take photos that actually taking them and it definitely shows in their work. Gorgeous colors and composition...
