Early Morning Hunt

Balckwater NWR, Cambridge, MD

One of several Bald Eagles I saw out at Blackwater NWR.

I'm working hard on improving my printing and have found I need
to practice alot, pictures like this one which are great for
web display don't always give a good 6x9 print, so I struggle.
I'm trying Capture NX + Photoshop CS2 with nik Sharpener Pro
Any thoughts by anyone would definitely be appreciated ;o)

Nikon D200 ,Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D ED VR AF
1/1500s f/5.6 at 400.0mm iso200 full exif

Not sure what is going on with your printing. Have you tried to shooting on different focus mode with higher F stop? Great timing on the shot...
