What a spectacular "winter" day here southern MD. Temp was close to 74 deg. F,
so I took a hike down to the beaver pond at the state park. I wasn't alone so the
wildlife photography wasn't spectacular (everything was too jittery) but it was a
great hike, with Blue Herron, Bald Eagle, Red Headed Woodpecker, Fingfisher,
and a herd of deer swimming across the pond. This is the best shot from the hike,
and for the young girls that saw me shooting and didn't have a camera along I will
post the deer pictures at the end the MD_VA galery. I will add a couple of other
pictures there later for any one interested.
