Dendrobium kingianum

Smithsonian, Washington DC

Well I must be recovering somewhat ;o)
This shot was actually taken TODAY.

This is a stack of 4 images for improved DoF I
tried using CS4 straight and it had a tough time aligning the images,
(probably because my macro lens changes focal length as you focus closer, oops)
so I did that by hand, but then the combining of the layers
was done by CS4 and worked very well with only a couple very minor
tweaks. Each of the shots was actually at f/22 so you can imagine the depth here.

Nikon D300 ,Nikkor 105mm f/2.8D AF Micro
1/160s f/22.0 at 105.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto
