It is possible to drive directly to the main Calumet collecting area near the top of the mountain, but I no longer go in this way as the road crosses Everitt Land and Cattle Company property that was posted "No Trespassing" about two years ago. Maybe one day I will be able to get permission to use the road and save the steep hike up the other way.
