I've just started experimenting with HDR and tone mapping - the images here are the results of my labours. I'm a bit in the dark about the whole process, and am learning as I go - quite often, I've arrived at a pretty good end image, but haven't really understood how I got there!

To me, these are some of the best examples of HDR I've seen. They don't have that "forced" look as so many I've seen, included some of my own experiments. You've captured it seems more what the eye would really see, rather than the limited range the camera has in a single shot...and you've done it in a subtle and very effective way with some beautiful and well composed photos.

I´m also starting with HDR, but instead Photomatix I prefer Dynamic Photo HDR, because seems to me more accurate and you can chosse between a large range of tones. Try it. You can get a trial version for free. Instead Ninja I use Neat Image, it´s quick and accurate enough for the usual problems. Luis Ascenso
