This is a reasonable candidate for a Vega Gull-darker mantle, darkish eye, and probably a reddish orbital ring. Open wing shots would be very helpful. I had an adult Vega Gull in Sault earlier this fall. There is universal agreement that the bird was a Vega and I have submitted to ORBC
