The Mono gallery has mostly images from across the USA--but not this one. This photo is the center memorial of a very small cemetery not 200 yards from my door. I've driven by it almost every day for the past 26 years. Yesterday was the first time that I saw this image visualization as I drove by with my camera in the car.
This is a good gift I need to remember and one that I want to share with you. You don't have to wait until you can go to Yosemite or Thailand to make good photographs. No matter where you live, powerful image potentials lie all around you--your gift is to just keep looking and you will find them. so what are you waiting for?
Happy Mother's day
