Gilding the lily

The first photos I am posting here come from a shooting exercise I did with 1 lily flower. In these shots the camera, lens and flower are at the same shooting positions so the uneditied framing was the same.

The variety of compositions comes mostly from altering the lighting. Beyond cropping, minimal work was done in photo editing. The goal was to produce a variety of images. This was a very good creative self assignment that I recommend to others.
