The Surreal Gardens of Sir Edward James

This jungle garden was the work of Sir Edward James. It is in the eastern part of Mexico in the mountains near the town of Xilitla. The work was shot with a Holga.

yo soy de mexico especificamente de ese lugar, ese lugar se llama xilitla san luis potosi mexico mencionado mucho por el castillo de xilitla o edward james la verdad es un lugar magico, antrar se siente la paz y trankilidad de este lugar! se los recomiendo

Saw this garden in a doco today; had never heard of it before and was absolutely blown away. stunning and would consider going to mexico just to see this. it's made my day.

I just returned from a tour which included the gardens of Sir Edward James. Even at my age of 67, it was a facinating work of "art". Would be fantastic to shoot a movie there. I definitely want to read "his" book.

Beautiful! In greyscale the riot of color goes away and only the shapes and the light and the shadows remain, it has a spiritual look. I love it.
