On Tuesday, March 17, 2015 we visited Monroeville, AL. Harper Lee, the author of "To Kill a Mockingbird" lives here.
The courthouse we visited was used as a model for the movie version of this one of the finest books ever written.
My wife was a high school English teacher and taught this book for many years.
It was a dream of hers to visit Monroeville. We knocked off one of here "bucket list" places to see with our half-day visit.
