Yellow Flower - test shot

Sacramento, CA

This is one of the first shots I took with the newest addition to my lens collection,
the venerable 24-70/2.8L, affectionally known in Canon circles as "the brick".
Weighing in at a hefty 2.2lbs, it's pretty easy to see why it garnered this nickname.

The other thing about the lens is the absolutely superior image quality.
IQ and bokeh are simply second to none.

While I was VERY sad to trade my 24-105/4L IS, I'm very pleased with the replacement.
(I should note, however, that six months later I sold the brick and bought another
24-105/4 L IS USM.)

Update 6/08 - I've bought yet another 24-70! Keeping the 24-105, this time, tho!
