This is one of the local covered bridges. While not exactly known as
a haven for them, Northern California does have it's share of old-time
covered bridges. The longest is in nearby Grass Valley and this one is
just outside Chico over Little Chico Creek. It's kept in pretty good
repair and every year on the first Sunday in July, a local group does
a pancake breakfast inside the bridge.
This is a shot I liked of the sunlight coming through the boards.
