Shipwreck survivors

This "shipwreck" sculpture put in place for the Commonwealth Games is no more.
Apparently vandals did so much damage to it, authorities thought it wise for the sake of safety, to wreck it completely.

How did you ever get the sky's cooperation for this majestic shot? The sweep of the cloud bank so beautifully mirrors the lines of the hull. I'm very glad that you were able to get these shots while the sculpture was still there.

What an interesting Picture I can imagine myself sitting there with the Grandchildren telling stories of Treasure Island and Captain Hook --- Lovely shot
