Skunk Hollow Observatory
IC63 - Gamma Cassiopeiae Nebula in Cassiopeia (LBN 623). Shot using a Meade LX200 10" @ f/7.15 and SBIG ST-2000XM with SBIG AO7. 70 minutes (7 x 10 minutes) luminance at 1x1 binned. Image scale is .85 arcseconds per pixel. Acquired using CCDOps. Dark and flat field frames applied. Self guided by SBIG AO7. Seeing was decent. Transparency was not very good. Only the brighter stars were visible. This is a pretty dim object. IC59 is very close to this nebula. The lines on the upper right of the image were caused by a bright star just out of the field of view.
