Tucson's Birthplace

The base of Sentinel Peak is known as "the birthplace of Tucson." This shot was taken on top of the mountain and shows that original site as well as the skyscrapers of present-day Tucson.

It is so sad to say that Tucson has not much to offer anymore the cost of living is going up almost every day you hear that there is going to be a new fee for this or for that. I was born here and still live here. I remember how the street in downtown were full and had so many places to shop at my mom used take us shoping there for things that we needed for school,I also remember taking one bus and then taken another to go to the hospital "Pima County Hospital" for a doctor's appointment.

Have wondered all these years why, after I married and went away for a few short years, that Tucson was taken over by some evil force or organization which bulldozed downtown Tucson, got rid of some beautiful and blessed ol' Mexican and Spanish Barrios just southwest of it, along w/Congress St. and Broadway St. merged together to put in their dumb ol' Conference bldgs. They just took over this beautiful area and erased it! - w/no forethought or care or compassion for all those living in the neighborhoods!!!!! No wonder Tucson downtown now looks dead and forlorn of beautiful people from days of yore. tch tch tch guess it was greed and meaness, what else?
