Railway bridge over the River Ribble

The Ribble is the boundary between the city of Preston and the borough of South Ribble. This view from the northern bank, shows the West Coast Mainline railway bridge. London is to the right, about 180 miles and Glasgow to the left about 180 miles.

Goodness knows how many times over the years I've been across that bridge courtesy of BR!! This is a super shot, Bernard, I love how that top branch keeps the eyes from wandering out of the frame...and those are just peachy reflections in the water! Cracking stuff :o)
