This gallery is dedicated to EVELYN, the good samaritan from Manhattan who so generously came to my assistance after an accident in Venice, in the evening hours of Sep. 15, 2007
(along the Riva d. Schiavoni, near Piazza San Marco). In my confusion, I lost the phone number she gave me and have not been able to locate her and thank her as I wanted to.
I still hope that her trips in cyberspace may lead her here one day.
All pictures in this gallery were taken with the Canon 5D and two lenses -- Canon 24-105L and Sigma 12-24 EX.

Very nice gallery! I was in Italy in June of this year and I really, really wanted the 5D/24-105L combo, but I couldn't afford it. I read of your misadventure in Venice and I cannot imagine how you feel. At least you have your photos to remember the good parts of the trip!
