An Apple in December

WEEKLY INFORMAL CHALLENGE 139: "Out of the Ordinary"

The apple harvest was weeks ago and yet this one apple is remaining on the tree.
It has been missed by gleaners (those who go through the orchard after it's been
picked to gather the remaining the fruit) and thus it's "out of the ordinary." As
you can see, the birds are happy that it is still on the tree!
