Despite the appearance, these shots are in color. It was a grey, rainy day, my first whale watch in the rain. There was a fair amount of action, thanks to Springboard who put on a good show of almost every behavior. It was a long trip, 7 hours, and it was cold and raw. I'm not likely to go in the rain again, but it was a good experience.
