A Square Meal

It has been a long day, and this is my treat at the end of it.
These are port and stilton flavoured crisps - lots of the food groups in there.
I don't know why our American friends call these chips. You eat those fried with fish.
And French Fries are actually from Belgium !

Port crisps! Oh my goodness, I'd have to try them if I ever saw them.

New to me, but they sound good - and they would be called chips in this part of Oz too.

Hard to imagine how hand-cooked differs from other ways of cooking. Surely hands are always involved somewhere! I notice beetroot crisps in our stores ..... they are dark crimson!

We have these in Budapest, at a gourmet expat grocery store. Now you've made me think I should try some of these fancy potato chips ;-). Great capture, Bill.

To each their own as they say, now this looks like it would sell in Scotland, might not do as well here in the states as Cape Cod salt and vinegar. Enjoy your treat. !! V

You boil the port and I'll fry the cheese. By hand.
