Though most of my encounters with alligators and crocodiles have been in pristine environments, the crocs of Caye Caulker, Belize, Central America, come around to the dump for handouts, the more rotten the better. I'm sorry these pictures aren't beautiful; the environment was what it was. These American crocodiles made a pretty good living there, so it worked for them.
