After transferring about half of the fuel into the polythene drums, they rolled the half-full drum down the hill to the water where we loaded it onto the boat along with the rest of the fuel. One of my friends helped them. It was hard work, but as I was documenting it all in photographs, I didn’t have to get my hands dirty! In the background is another glacier that has retreated back up into the mountains.
