After flying over Scoresbysund, we turned over the plains and hills on the north side of the fjord in preparation for our landing at Constable Pynt. Here we could see some spectacular tundra scenery which changed from minute to minute – and sometimes the landforms were so strange that we weren’t quite sure what we were looking at. It wasn’t until I downloaded a close-up of these hills (next shot) that I could work that the white streaks in this shot were in fact patches of ice.
