Pegaso was a Spanish builder of trucks, tractors, bus and armored vehicles, and for a while sports cars. Although they only built 86 sports cars in the 50's, they were quite advanced for that era with superchargers and five speed gear boxes.
In 1953 the Z-102 was the fastest production car sold and was capable of 155 MPH. Unfortunately, they were outdated in the other ways, as they had no disc brakes or powering steering.
This car was discovered in 1992 in a San Marino CA garage where it had sat for 22 years.
Another great 'barn find' story!
