Baker Hall

Pittsburgh, PA

Baker Hall, where Psychology Dept at CMU is, is another example of materpiece designed by Henry Hornbostel.

Besides a striking cantilevered, circular staircase, bricks are tiled in such a delicate and precise way that you can call it a Hornbostelized brick texture.

The ceiling looks like basketweave, not brick. Nicely shot.
