Western Oregon University (WOU)
The back entrance to the swimming pool on the campus of Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon USA.
Founded in 1856, WOU is the oldest institution in the Oregon University system. It is most noted for its school of education and as the site of the Oregon State Police Academy.
It has about 4,500 students. Through most of it's existence it was known as Oregon College of Education until being renamed WOU. WOU athletic teams are known as The Wolves.
