The central part of the church dates back to around 1280, the pillars, cornices and archways are linked to the (school) style of Pont-Croix. At the beginning of the 16th c the facade, steeple and south porch were added. The steeple was removed in Sep 1625 on the orders of the Duke de Chaulnes, governor of Brittany, in order to supress the ed Cap revolt.
