one never knows when one will encounter some curious critter
I this strange creature out of the corner of my eye while taking a breather from a stroll outside the New York Public Library ...the light was low in the shade of the park, so I had to use the onboard flash & a bit higher ISO than I would have wished
I believe this is a Halysidota harrisii which will become a Sycamore Tussock Moth should it survive the vicissitudes of a New York City summer
