The Old Church

One of my favorite churches!
I like this church because of its simplicity.
This first church of Tampere was built in 1824 and
neoclassical cruciform was designed by Italian-born Carlo Bassi.
The altarpiece (1831) by R. W. Ekman depicts Christ in Gethsemane.
It's beautiful also outside:

A beautifully well-crafted image. You did so well in those difficult lighting conditions.

Beautiful church and capture of it, Anitta. That ceiling in particular is stunning. I remember the exterior picture and thought it looked nice there, too. V.

Mike! Thanks. Task completed. I think it looks a little bit better now :-).

Very nice. I'd straighten the lines in PS, though the round ceiling will fall out of view at the edges. A trade off, or shoot wider next time around to leave room for straightening
