hey I also have beautiful pics of antakya's mosaics I had been there and took all of those pics lol ..it was awsome ...thank Kenan ...vancouver,kanada

Marilyn, I don't know. Most are from the suburb of Daphne, now called Harbiye, which
was Antioch's holidaying resort in Roman times. See the links I've added to the main
Antakya page athttp://www.pbase.com/andrys/antakya for more info though. Glad you
and your daughter liked this. As you can see, I was drawn to it.

This is so beautiful. My 12 year old daughter and I am going to attempt to make something like it for her Social Studies project on Roman mosaics. Do you have any idea where it was found in Turkey? That would be nice to know for her report. Thanks for your help!
