Lisa, I also had no idea Turkey had so much that is beautiful and with multiple levels of history because of all the trading and changes after various battles for territory from so many sides. I think a hint for us is that it's across from Greece... Thanks for your feedback and I hope you do get to go. It was a fantastic trip.

The pictures are beautiful. I never imagined places in Turkey looked like this. I had nice conversation with a girl from Turkey. She was very passionate about the pleasures of the food from her home and the wonderful places to visit. One day maybe I will see Turkey and breathe its air.
