The HDR mode takes 3 to 6 pictures and gives you one normal exposure
and one combination of the 3 to 6 exposures, with the best exposed areas of each.
The danger is movement (these were all hand-held) of either yourself
or the subject (insects, flowers and leaves in the wind, etc.).
ALSO, I used the optical zoom of only 3.6x from about 9-10 ft away,
and did not think to try the 'Clear Image' interpolation that adds 3.6x more.
