View of Mexico

Looking to the South Southwest from the top of Mt. Helix one can see to Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
Tijuana is 18miles / 29km distant in front of the flat mountain in the center of the frame.

We used to cross the border into Mexico a lot, but rampant crime makes it too dangerous to visit.
The security and long lines crossing back to the U.S. make border waits of two hours and more the norm, adding another deterrent.
It is unfortunate that this rich source of photo opportunities is no longer available to me.
