Fresnel Lens at the Old Point Loma Lighthouse
Made out of brass and several hundred hand ground prisms, this lens was made by Henry LePaute in France in the 1850's.
The lens is 5'2" (1,58m) tall and weighs 1,985lbs. (900kg.). Its light was visible for 20miles (32km)
