This Wiston wagon shed is a very simple traditional building, made from oak and with a tiled roof. It probably dates from the 18th century. These sheds was built close to the farmyard to house carts and wagons needed on the farm. The shed was dismantled in 1976 at Wiston, West Sussex and reconstructed at Singleton in 1980.
