When I think about summer I think about butterflies. I didn’t have luck to make many of them sharp. The wind usually adds itself to my photos but can you imagine summer without summer breeze?

You move into a new realm of expression here, Alina. This image is not only evocative of summer -- it is also a beautifully subtle work of electronic painting -- a photo-montage. You theme the image with the faintly seen background butterfly, and then tell your story of its complex feeding in the foreground. You speak of luck and sharpness in the caption -- this image is not a matter of luck. It is your own talent for expression at work here, Alina. An image does not have to be entirely sharp to express its meaning. In this case, you are working very close, so you have a very compact depth of focus. The butterfly and the edge of the flower are sharp, while the side of the flower is soft. All of it works together to express your idea. Photomontage is an art form unto itself, Alina. It must be handled with subtlety, and that is exactly what you've done here.

Not sharp ? Are you kidding ? It's very very beautiful, and the superimposition is great too... That's one very beautiful image Alina and something tells me that maybe, just maybe... you'll draw and paint it too. The colors are stunning... it oozes summer all over. Very well done Alina
