I found this wonderful man at the Sydney Timber & Working with Wood Show in Sydney. The creator of "Rare Chairs" he uses traditional techniques going back many hundreds years to make replicas of chairs to original designs using original methods.

A man with a great life story, he is a designer, teacher and pioneer. Watching him work with a pole lathe to fashion chair legs using nothing more than his foot power is quite mesmerising.
