This image was taken at the international airport in Abu Dhabi earlier this year. A group of young muslim women sitting together in the food court enjoying each other’s company, some with children.

This is a crop of a landscape format image. Even in the landscape original the lines pulled the viewer into the central face. The background colour scheme was however a very bright red which was distracting. As the predominant colours were black and skin tones I eliminated the background colour but kept the bright drinks and tray to hopefully communicate the happy nature of their meeting. I am not sure if that worked.
