Almost at the end of my photography outing in Bac Ha market, I felt a burning sensation on my thigh and I found my "North Face" pant slit open, but luckily my wallet was not taken in the process.

Like most other countries, pick pockets are common. These are small criminal who usually do not recite here in Bac Ha.
To me, Bac Ha is still a safe place to visit.
