I first started photography while in my primary school days with a Kodak Instamatic camera. Later in my teens, I bought my first SLR camera, a Fujica ST705s that comes with the standard 55mm f:1.7 lens.

I love photographing people and human portrait. In my early days, I used to volunteer photographing my fellow church member’s weddings with this single 55mm f:1.7 standard lens set-up. Over the years, I’ve learn to master the use of this single lens set-up to cover almost all angles of church weddings’ photography. Being an amateur and having little resources, it has helped me to be versatile with minimum equipments in my current photographic shoots. Today, I still practice having minimum equipments in achieving maximum results in my photography pastime.

Being a member of the Malaysian Nature Society since 1985, I have extended my photographic subjects’ interest to cover nature photography. I have photographed much of the rainforest in Peninsular Malaysia and the Borneo of Sabah and Sarawak. I still venture into the rainforest photographing the rich flora and fauna as the rainforest is so magnificent and so diverse, it is a continuing process for me to have them recorded in perpetuity.

However, in my travel I like capturing other subject that pleases my eyes. These are some of the images I would like to share with you as seen through my lens……
