Lizard Watching

Today I have spent all of my energy deep cleaning our kitchen. Everything needed to be bleached down, simply because it made me feel better. Nothing exciting has happened to us since my lost post, other than finding this little green anole.

Yesterday upon returning from the grocery store, Entomologist said Mommie come quick its a baby lizard. Yep, sure enough, there it was sitting on the pitcher plant, enjoying the suns rays. Entomologist wanted to show his new found friend to our neighbor. So I caught it, and placed it into an insect, baby lizard, whatever it is that we find interesting, jar. I told him that we would have to return him to the front yard after we are finished viewing him/her. Of course I wanted to make sure that I was able to get a pretty decent picture of him/her, so I placed the baby lizard on a fern on our front porch. So here you have it, our little lizard, wondering why he was captured in the first place. I guess in overall length, s/he was about 1 1/2 inches long. Its head was about the size of your pinky fingernail. Cute little buggar, don't you think?

What a cute little guy! He's so tiny. I've never seen a baby. Great catch!
