Alain n'appuie pas sur son déclencheur sans s'imaginer préalablement ce que sera l'image qu'il fixera sur un pont, à l'angle d'une calle.... Le respect de l'esprit des lieux, le mariage des costumes avec l'ambiance vénitienne loin de la promiscuité et de l'ordinaire, l'étude de la lumière et l'art de s'approprier quelques mètres carrés armé de son appareil photo magique, font de lui le plus délicieux de nos complices en matière d'image. Voici donc votre galerie Venise 2011 terminée. J’en attendais donc la fin pour l’apprécier dans sa globalité et pour laisser mes impressions. J’avais déjà évoqué certaines qualités de vos photos dans d’autres galeries : cohérence, cadrage, lumière, profondeur de champ… Bien sûr, tout ceci reste vrai cette année encore. Mais ce qui me vient à l’esprit cette année, c’est la notion « d’ouverture ». Pas l’ouverture du diaphragme…quoique que ! Non, non je m’explique : Grâce à l’utilisation des courtes focales et votre travail sur les arrières plans, vos photos sont « ouvertes » vers le regard des masques, puis vers Venise, puis vers la lumière, pleines de naturel ( comme celles d’Inde témoignant d’une grande « ouverture » pour ce pays). Elles témoignent de la complicité que vous devez avoir envers les costumés et la Sérénissime. Votre manière de photographier est vraiment unique. Chapeau !! Il est intéressant des comparer nos photos faites aux mêmes moments : cf. Jolanda ! Mon style est bien plus fermé. C’est ainsi. Par contre, permettez-moi d’être un peu plus réservé à propos des superpositions, plus artificielles, où mon regard a du mal à « circuler ». Merci encore de nous faire partager ce superbe spectacle qu’est votre manière unique de percevoir ce carnaval 2011. En attendant impatiemment de futures galeries... Amicalement. Yves

A ce stade de la production d'Alain Boussac au fil des éditions du Carnaval de Venise, on peut parler d'œuvre photographique car il a su développer un style qui est sa marque de fabrique: Cadrage serré, profondeur de champ maîtrisée pour signer la présence de la Sérénissime, éclat des couleurs et petite lumière au fond des yeux autant que possible. V !
